Road freight weight (tons)- chargeable weight or ‘weight measure’(wm)- determined on whichever is the greater between actual weight and the volumetric weight. Volumetric weight is calculated on cubic meters (cbm) of the cargo, L x W x H, divided by a factor of 2; (2 cube = 1 road freight ton).

Packaging needs to be suitable, strong, secure and ISPM 15 compliant to withstand the multiple handling events, on collection or delivery. Labelling is crucial. On at least 2 sides, to make your cargo easily identifiable.

Hazardous cargo (or Dangerous Goods -DG-cargo) has to be specifically packed to meet standards and guidelines and must be accompanied by an MSDS and declared on shipping documents and forms. Advance notice is important so hauliers can ensure correct handling procedures and signage.

Please refer to INCO Terms, Container Dimensions and ISPM 15 regulations under our services tab.
